SnorkelPlus Concept

SnorkelPlus is a new concept in shallow recreational diving. It mimics snorkeling but replaces breath hold dives with light weight scuba. The SnorkelPlus Buoyancy Control Harness (BCH) makes swimming easy and with scuba attached permits snorkelers to explore underwater effortlessly.

Buoyancy Control Harness (BCH)

The SnorkelPlus Buoyancy Control Harness (BCH) is extremely versatile.

Use it to Just Snorkel. Inflate the BCH orally to assist surface swimming and for added visibility and safety. To breath hold dive simply deflate and swim underwater with neutral buoyancy. Re-inflate the BCH orally when you return to the surface.

For SnorkelPlus the BCH carries two small air cylinders and breathing regulators. Being front mounted the scuba weight is buoyed in the water making surface snorkeling and swimming underwater both comfortable and stable.

The BCH may also be used for normal open water scuba diving to a depth of up to 30m (98ft) by divers certified in sidemount.

Start by Signing Up to Learn at snorkelplus.com and complete our free short Knowledge reviews.

Then Just Snorkel. This will acquaint you with the BCH and allow you to get used to buoyancy compensation.

When you are ready to learn to SnorkelPlus simply ask at a Dive Center near you at home or on vacation. SnorkelPlus is new and our search databases are work in progress but our "Beach" and "Reef" courses are available at snorkelplus.com to all existing Dive Centers and certified scuba instructors.

If you already have an open water scuba certificate and want to learn to SnorkelPlus our "Reef" course also functions as a day speciality.
